EASTER HOLIDAY CLOSURE: The Cheltonian Society office will be closed from Friday 3 to Sunday 12 April (inclusive).
Cheltenham College has benefited from a long history of philanthropy since its foundation in 1841. We flourish today thanks to the generosity of Old Cheltonians, parents and friends and we will advance further as that tradition grows.
The gifts we receive help us to develop in so many areas. They underpin our transformative Bursaries Programme and enable us to develop powerful partnerships outside the walls of Cheltenham College. Sustaining the College's heritage architecture reinforces our identity and traditions, while continuous development of facilities ensuries that we provide an appropriate setting for the world-class teaching that takes place within.
All this is founded on the strength of support we receive from so many Old Cheltonians, parents and friends. Through gifts at all levels, both to the endowment and to current programmes, our community of benefactors enables so much of what makes Cheltenham College special.
Please do make a gift to Cheltenham College if you feel able to, every gift makes a meaningful difference to what we are able to achieve.
The Annual Fund enables us to carry out projects that have an immediate benefit
Each year, the Cheltenham College staff, pupils and trustees of the Cheltenham College Charitable Trust (charity no. 1006429) will decide which projects will take place. Projects take place across a range of academic departments, houses and College grounds. Decisions are made based on available funds for a particular project, as well as the capacity to deliver a project in the context of any other work being carried out at College.
If you wish to specify which project you would like to support, please add a comment on the online donation form, or contact the Development team on development@downehouse.net or 01242 709 245
Opening the door for future Cheltonians
The Bursary Endowment Funds allow us to bring the transformative power of a Cheltenham education to more Cheltonians. Support the Guy Dodd Bursary Endowment Fund or the Edward Wilson Bursary Endowment Fund to help us finance bursary places at Cheltenham College in perpetuity.
Remember Cheltenham College in your will and join the Hugh Reeves Society
We are extremely grateful for legacies of all sizes, which can be directed towards a specific area or left for general charitable purposes. If you inform us you have made a provision for Cheltenham College in your will, you will be invited to join The Hugh Reeves Society, to thank you and celebrate your contribution in your lifetime.
