An official presentation was made to David Stewart (Hazelwell, 1978) at March’s Council meeting, to thank him for his service to the Cheltonian Society over the past 12 years.

David is an Old Cheltonian and past parent who joined the Committee in 2014 and subsequently took up the post of President of Society in 2019. He has served for two 3-year terms in which time he has made a significant contribution to the direction of the organisation.

Head Mrs Nicola Huggett presented David with a pair of OC silver cufflinks, on behalf of all the Committee members.

David remains on College Council, though he steps down from Society Presidency, so he will remain active in the life of Cheltenham College as a whole.

David is succeeded by Anthony Holt (Christowe,1994) who was warmly welcomed by the Committee team into his new role at the end of 2025.
