It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Ian Campbell, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, who left us in 2026 at the age of 77.

Born in 1948, Robert lived a life marked by kindness, integrity and devotion to his family. He spent his childhood in Cheltenham, attending the junior and senior schools at Cheltenham College, where he was a member of Thirlestaine House. He went on to build a life and successful legal career in Hong Kong, the city that he called home for over fifty years. Robert shared a loving marriage with his wife, Amy, and was a proud father to his son, Patrick.

Throughout his life, Robert touched many with his warmth and generosity. He had an endearing Scots sense of humour and he offered his wisdom freely. His presence enriched the lives of all who knew him and his legacy will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends.

Robert is survived by his wife Amy, his son Patrick and his brothers Adrian and St John.
