Nigel Evans, brother of Russell Evans (Xt, 1954), passed away on 4 November 2023, aged 85.
At College, Nigel played on the Rugby 1st XV, Rowing VIII and the Boxing team. He attended St John’s College, Cambridge and went on to work at Rolls-Royce plc for 40 years, with senior appointments in Commercial and Headquarter functions.
Nigel was the adored husband of Mary, devoted father of Tim, Polly and Sophie, and grandfather of Zac, Jake, Gabriella, Sasha, Ted, Oli and Alex. He is greatly missed.
