Tom Thornton, father of Philip Thornton (H, 1983), son of Cyril Joseph Thornton OBE (H, 1889) and nephew of Charles Thornton (H, 1889 and Head of Cheltenham College Junior Department 1911-1923), died on 26 March 2024, aged 85.
