Ched Richards, brother of Stuart Richards (Xt, 1961), passed away in the United States in May 2023, aged 82. Ched played for the 1st XV and 1st hockey teams and was an avid reader, spending much of his spare time in the ‘Big Modern’ library. Ched presented the Library with an engraved chair which remains there today.
